Pat works with managers and teams so they can learn how to improve communication in the workplace. She provides insights about their communication styles and how they can work with others who have different styles. Pat encourages managers to capitalize on the behavioral strengths of the people in their organizations. Her mission is to assist managers and teams in getting the results they desire, so they can enjoy more satisfying lives and careers.By combining individual assessments with team workshops Pat offers opportunities for team members to learn techniques, practice skills in a safe setting, and connect with others who want to grow professionally.
Pat has over 25 years experience in business and education. As a business owner, a manager in profit and non-profit organizations, and a university instructor, she focused on achieving results through improved communication. Her skills enabled her to move up the ladder quickly. After being named franchisee of the year, she sold her first business and returned to college. Pat has a M.S. in Counseling Psychology and a B.A. in Human Resources and Education. She is a graduate of Coach University.
In Washington and Alaska, Pat has served on many volunteer boards and councils. Most have been related to community service, education, or the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
Her current national professional affiliations include the International Coaching Federation and the Society for Human Resource Management. Locally, she is the Speaker Chair of the Women's Professional Network in Whatcom County, a member of the Skagit-Island Human Resource Management Association, an ambassador for the Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce, and a member of the Skagit/Island Counties Building Association.
Pat works with clients throughout the U.S. by telephone and with local clients in person. She provides business and team coaching, management consulting, and communication workshops.
